Panorama Mtn Resort: Summit Ridge Walks

  • Panorama Mountain Resort 2000 Panorama Drive Panorama, BC, V0A 1T0 Canada (map)

This catered hiking excursion takes you along the alpine ridges that extend from Panorama's peak and give you a chance to venture into a part of the mountains few people see. The views are breathtaking, from the chairlift ride up, to the vast expanse of rugged peaks and the brilliant stands of golden alpine larch.

To reach the summit you will take three chairlifts up. There are three hikes of different abilities that begin at the summit and a host will guide you to one of three special destinations for incredible views. Group sizes are kept small at around 15 people per group.

While the hikes vary in difficulty, all journey over uneven, undulating terrain with steep sections. You will also be in the high alpine for several hours. This event is best suited for people with a reasonable level of fitness who are comfortable hiking.

This event is extremely popular and will sell out.
